PCS assist Wayne Rooney and Coleen McLoughlin with dream wedding
The celebrity wedding of the year took place in June and PCS were delighted to provide their first class service to the happy couple as they planned and prepared for their special day.
Manchester United footballer, Wayne Rooney, exchanged wedding vows with his childhood sweetheart, Coleen McLoughlin in Portofino, Italy, after an engagement of almost five years. Celebrations for the big day started as private planes transported guests from Manchester and London to Italy, where a super yacht was hired for pre-wedding parties involving a masquerade party and a black and white themed ball. After the ceremony, guests enjoyed live music and champagne in a 14th century monastery set against the beautiful landscape of Portofino.
A glamorous affair from start to finish, the high profile celebrity wedding ran smoothly with every part planned to ultimate perfection, and PCS were part of the supreme team that helped Coleen and Wayne as they arranged their perfect wedding.
Planning a wedding can be extremely stressful, even more so when you are planning the wedding of the year! So it was vital that Coleen and Wayne received the highest level of service and support as they started their wedding preparations. PCS provided luxury S-Class Mercedes and executive mini-coaches for the many occasions when members of the bridal party needed to make essential journeys involved in wedding planning.
A reported lucrative magazine deal was in operation for coverage of the wedding meaning that security was a high priority. Everyone involved in the wedding was under strict instructions and PCS, who already have a firm confidentiality policy in operation, were the ideal chauffeur company to handle all transport solutions in the months prior to the ceremony as the bride and groom undertook their wedding planning. Working closely with security firm, Merse and Revellers Events, PCS helped to ensure that every journey involved with the wedding was luxurious, safe and completely secure.
PCS also undertook all transport solutions for Coleen’s celebrations during her last days as a single girl, providing a fleet of Mercedes to escort her party to the Lowry Hotel in Manchester. They also provided their first class service to Coleen as she travelled to her private jet for her wedding dress fitting in America, and took members of the bridal party to the airports as they headed to Italy for the wedding celebrations.
Revellers, an events company based in Manchester, were responsible for helping the couple plan their unforgettable wedding and PCS worked closely with the firm.
