North West based chauffeur business, Professional Chauffeur Services (PCS), has beaten off stiff competition to secure a multi-million pound contract with Unilever. The contract is to provide transport services to Unilever staff and trading partners.
The contract represents a further expansion for PCS, which specialises in the provision of one-stop transport services to businesses, the music industry and celebrities. In the last year, PCS has been chosen to provide ground transport services to the Royal Variety Awards, MTV Music Awards and the WWE Wrestling tour. The business counts numerous celebrities and agents amongst its regular clients.
PCS Managing Director, John Murphy, explained the secret behind the success of PCS “We always strive to maintain the very best service and the highest standards of professionalism. Our clients are often busy and important individuals who need total reliability and professionalism.”
“We have done relatively ad-hoc work for Unilever for some time now and we were approached to tender for this contract earlier this year. Service levels are paramount to them; they need the very best service and we are delighted to be chosen to expand our work with them.” With a fleet of more than 170+ prestige vehicles and a number of offices nationwide, PCS provides a national and international service. The new contract takes the firm’s annual turnover towards £4m and adds another blue chip name to its client roster. “It’s good for the business and a credit to our staff who work hard to maintain the standards that we demand” said Murphy.
