| My mum and I recently went on the trip of a lifetime to Australia, at 81 years old and not well travelled, mum was understandibly nervous..until our driver arrived to take us to our Emirates flight in Birmingham. Steve Bailey was like a breath of fresh air to us, he treated us like royalty, looked after our every need and chatted to us for the duration of our journey, sharing our exitement. Steve was also there to meet us when we arrived home, after an exhausting trip, a friendly face got us safely home, remembering our story. I can honestly say that our holiday began when Steve arrived at our door, he helped us to feel relaxed and special and took away the pressure of having to find our way to the airport, including ensuring that wheelchair support was waiting. Our holiday ended when he dropped us off, all smiles and encouragement after a mammouth trip.
I wanted to formally thank Steve, our family had been through a challenging journey indeed that eventually enabled us to get to Australia and for my Mum to meet her grand children, we anticipated a special time but never considered what an impact our driver would have on seeing the journey through. |
